Lord of the Dance
Every year, the Claddagh School of Irish Dance performs a recital for the local community. This video is from the 1999 recital. 4 of the dancers are now TCRGs, and most have graduated from Colleges or Universities.

The history of 10 girls as they began at the early age of 9 and remained together to become the best Girls Ceili Team in North America. They achieved 2nd place at the All-Irelands in 2004 and always placed in the top 10 at the Worlds. Their last competition together was at the 2006 North American Nationals in San Diego remaining the first place title holder for 4 straight years!

What are the three tunes? I heard Haste to the Wedding, but I'm not sure what else :)

in april i be doing this dance at my feis last year we got 1st place because of this dance

dominiqueebearr Yes they have been doing it forever. I remember competing against them in feises when I was a kid in the 90s 😊

What are the meanings behind this dance?
its a set dance, just not like one you would dance as a solo e.g the blackbird. Its just called the 3 tunes!

Its called The Three Tunes, and i don't remember the individual songs, but you should be able to get a set of the ceili dance.

OH! I was at this feis and I remember seeing you guys dance - even though it was years ago! I wanna say it was the wild west feis but I don't think so

I love the Claddagh school but this does not look anything close to what they can really do... what is with those outfits and that girl in the middle? What is her purpose. I dont think this does justice to how great Claddagh reall is.

nice, must have taken days and days of practice! It's not three tunes, since they play Haste to the Wedding at 1 and 3, but I don't know the tune in the middle.
Im starting to think that _CAMAHOLIC.NET_ place is a virus... -.- AND irish dancing is not flipping legs, seriously we put alot of hard work into it, I'd like to see people try it with out having cramps in their legs and be good at it the first time they try it. -.-

Roisin1212 - when uploading videos on youtube the audio and video go out of sync. I'm 100% positive they were not out of time at the feis. :)
